A perfect spring day calls for an elegant spring garden-inspired cocktail. The garden is loaded with sugar snap peas and dill so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make a drink. I thought it’d be fun to infuse some snap peas in bison grass vodka, the grassiness of the vodka pairs beautifully with the sweet herbal flavor of the snap peas. Dill syrup, aquavit, and celery shrub complement the cocktail perfectly. And you know I love bubbles so I had to add some sparkling wine! Cheers y’all!!

Hi there! I've been a bartender at the same restaurant for over 10 years. My favorite spirits to work with are rum (love a good tiki drink!), gin and amaros. I love to garden and I often use the herbs and produce I grow to make syrups and infusions. Cheers y'all! ...

Combine all ingredients except sparkling wine in a shaker with ice. Shake to chill, double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Top with the sparkling wine and garnish. *Dill syrup: combine 1 cup of water and a large handful of dill in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, reduce, and let steep for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat, add 1/2 cup of sugar, and stir to combine. Strain into a container and store in the fridge.
Editor's Note
Snap pea-infused bison grass vodka meets celery shrub and dill syrup in this vibrant, savory spring spritz. A sophisticated, garden-forward build that demands fresh, seasonal ingredients.
