Coconut is a classic tiki flavor, so a delicious coconut-jasmine-lychee flavored vodka seemed like a great base for a tropical drink. This drink splits the base with the vodka and a rum split, and brings in other classic flavors of orgeat, lime, and pineapple. A final touch of lightly carbonated tepache (fermented pineapple drink) brightens the whole thing up.

I love trying new ingredients, learning new techniques, and of course, creating new cocktails-- especially ones influenced by food in some way. I also love the photography/videography side of things. I’m incredibly passionate about my craft but try not to take myself too seriously. Cheers!...

Editor's Note
A split base of floral vodka and funky Jamaican rum creates a complex tiki-style sour. Fermented pineapple tepache adds a bright, effervescent finish.
