Sense and Sensibility may be my favorite Jane Austen novel. Don’t even get me started on the 1995 Ang Lee movie. When Kate Winslet as Miss Marianne Dashwood stands in the rain looking over at Combe Magna calling “Willoughby. Willoughby. Willoughby.” my heart just broke into a million pieces. I could watch that movie a million times and probably have. Someday I will make it to Bath, England for the Jane Austen festival. Someday…Cheers! 🍸
