The Old Fashioned is one of my favourite cocktails and the Conference is one of my favourite riffs on it. This is one drink that really opened my eyes to split bases. The inspiration for this Old Fashioned comes from America's original spirit and my favourite distillate, Rum!! Back when America was still a colony of the British Crown, rum reigned supreme.
