Meltdown
Submitted on: November 2, 2023
Hello friends! Tonight I have a bit of a northern Michigan shooter with Leelanau Vodka and Traverse City Whiskey Company! Called the Meltdown, this originally called for Stolinchnaya, so I can only imagine that it was named for the Chernobyl disaster of 1986. The drink itself is very smooth and has a good peach flavor, balanced out by the chill of the vodka. It went down super easily, and made for a great Tuesday night sipper. Cheers!

Editor's Note
A regional take on the classic peach shooter. Chilled vodka provides a clean, crisp base for the stone fruit sweetness.
