Negroni Tropico

Submitted on: November 17, 2023
This is a tiki inspired Negroni variation with tropical notes of guava, pineapple, coconut, orange, and earthy spices. Almost like the traditional except we replace the sweet vermouth with Montenegro Amaro and the dry gin with a tropical tiki gin from La Jolla and Martinique coconut rum. This is a smooth, yet bitter and complex Negroni made for Negroni lovers and people who like tiki but appreciate the less sweet options.

I am a videographer, photographer, lover of art, & a craft cocktail connoisseur. I am so grateful to have had all of these opportunities to do what I love and hope to continue to do more with like-minded individuals,...

Editor's Note
Montenegro replaces sweet vermouth in this tiki-inflected Negroni, trading traditional sweetness for a complex, spiced finish. Coconut rum adds a subtle, creamy depth to the bitter backbone.
