As much as I love using sherry in cocktails, I never seem to use it. Flipping through Death & Co. I came across the ‘Flor de Jerez’ and knew I wanted to make it. I switched up the style of the sherry and the rum. It’s deeper and richer and so tasty. Cheers y’all!

Bartender
Hi there! I've been a bartender at the same restaurant for over 10 years. My favorite spirits to work with are rum (love a good tiki drink!), gin and amaros. I love to garden and I often use the herbs and produce I grow to make syrups and infusions. Cheers y'all! ...

Editor's Note
Oloroso sherry and Demerara rum create a deep, oxidative base. Apricot liqueur adds a velvety fruit finish to this balanced sour.

What a great cocktail. Now I know what to do with my bottle of sherry.
