Happy #nationalscotchday! Not even going to lie I am not a Scotch fan. But I had a really cool bottle with a steampunk vibe, and I hadn’t used it yet, so it was time. On the spectrum of scotches, it’s not obscenely peaty or smoky and has a pleasant sweetness to it. Wonderful for cocktails. Cheers y’all!!!!

Shake bourbon, lemon, ginger liqueur, and honey syrup in a shaker with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Top with the scotch and garnish with the candied ginger.
