My lovely friend Summer gave me some soju to play around with, so I immediately had to come home and make a cocktail. Soju, in its most basic definition, is a clear, neutral spirit usually distilled from grains. I tried the unflavored version, and I enjoyed it, but I also had some flavored ones to try. Watermelon flavor was the clear winner, so here’s a fun, summery drink featuring new to me soju. Cheers y’all!!

Bartender
Hi there! I've been a bartender at the same restaurant for over 10 years. My favorite spirits to work with are rum (love a good tiki drink!), gin and amaros. I love to garden and I often use the herbs and produce I grow to make syrups and infusions. Cheers y'all! ...

Editor's Note
Watermelon soju meets jalapeño-spiked limeade in this vibrant, fruit-forward spritz. A basil-muddled base adds an herbal finish to this summer sipper.
