I've been working as a craft cocktail bartender since 2015, living and working in Toronto for the majority of that time. I have extensive experience creating, curating and managing craft cocktail bar programs. I have also worked private functions like birthdays and weddings. Creating custom cocktails with the input of my clients, and ensuring that everything is executed perfectly for their event...
Add all ingredients except absinthe to a mixing glass with ice, stir for 10 seconds. Rinse your Coupe glass with the Absinthe, then strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe glass. Optionally you can express the peel of a lemon over the top of the cocktail and discard, I would try it without the peel the first time.
Editor's Note
Coconut fat-washing adds a silky, tropical depth to this rye-cognac split. A modern, textural twist on the classic Sazerac template.

This is such a creative take on the Sazerac! Do you happen to have the recipe for your coconut fat-wash process so others can try making it?
