Tonight's cocktail is a version of one of my all-time favorite cocktails, a Sazerac. I first had this back in 2013 when I went skiing in Colorado with family, and ever since I have sought this out when I see it on a menu at a bar. As part of the Tastemaker Program, I have been given the amazing opportunity to try this straight rye whiskey from Ruddell's Mill. Thank you for the opportunity, and cheers!

Editor's Note
A classic Sazerac build that uses a split base of Peychaud's and Angostura bitters. The rye provides a spicy backbone against the traditional absinthe-rinse and lemon oil aroma.
