For those looking for a way to enjoy a boozier banana experience, look no further than a liquid banana daiquiri! Combine all ingredients in a shaker (use a blender for fresh banana puree if you're able). Double strain into a coupe and place the coupe atop a large pineapple leaf (a frond, if you will). Slice 3 slices from a peeled banana, and place atop the frond. Using a small propane torch, hold alight about an inch away from each banana slice until browned and fragrant. Enjoy 🍌
Editor's Note
Dark rum and banana puree create a rich, molasses-forward profile. Torched banana slices add a fragrant, caramelized finish to this tropical classic.

This sounds like a fantastic, elevated take on a classic! The torched banana garnish is such a brilliant touch for the aroma. Do you have a preferred method for making your banana puree to get that perfect consistency?
