Black Margarita is the new black. I wanted to try out activated charcoal and I had an idea for a more original recipe that didn't pan out as I wanted so I relied on the good 'ol Margarita. Did swap out the simple syrup for a raspberry syrup because raspberry is just too lovely.

Ingredients

60 ml
Lime Juice

40 ml
Cointreau

30 ml
Raspberry Syrup

1 tsp
Activated Charcoal

Add all ingredients to a shaker, add ice, and shake to chill. Double-strain into a chilled glass and serve with an appropriate decadent garnish.

Activated charcoal turns this Margarita into a striking, pitch-black pour. Raspberry syrup adds a necessary fruit-forward sweetness to the classic tequila-lime base.
