It’s been a weird week in the UP. 80s to start the week, 40s and rain to end. Summer and Autumn battling it out. This drink brings elements of each. A little something for everything this week has offered, the light, refreshing fruits of summer and the spice and earth of autumn. All coming together in a glass. Thank you, @chakravodkas and @carefree.spirits.distillery , for the vodka!

View MoreOn a board, light your cinnamon stick until it glows and invert your glass over it. In a mixing glass, add vodka, syrup, lemon, peeled clementine, and rosemary. Muddle until the clementine is fully juiced. Flip your glass, add large ice cubes (mine had flowers frozen in them- rose petals and calendula), and double strain your mix over the ice. Top with soda and garnish with the burnt cinnamon stick and a fresh sprig of rosemary. Enjoy!
Editor's Note
Smoked cinnamon and savory rosemary bridge the gap between seasons. Bright clementine evokes summer, while warm spice hints at autumn in this refreshing vodka highball.
