Fog Cutter
Submitted on: June 14, 2022
Classically Tiki, straight outta, well, who really knows, this is the recipe from the Smuggler’s Cove book and we can leave the arguing about origins to others. My slight change is to the float, as I don’t have any sherry at the moment but I did decide to pick up sherry powerhouse Lustau’s Vermut that has a very sherry base. It worked wonderfully here, except it didn’t float! Oh well. This cocktail amps up complexity with the triple base spirit, two citruses and omnipresent orgeat and it sure do...

Editor's Note
A potent, multi-spirit Tiki classic. The whip shake with crushed ice ensures the perfect dilution for this complex, citrus-forward sipper.
