In honor of National Cognac Day, I mixed up this refreshing riff on a classic Sea Breeze. Replacing the conventional grapefruit juice with a grapefruit club soda to yield a bubbly patio sipper.
Ingredients
- 1.5 ozHennessey VSOP
- 2 ozCranberry Juice
- 3 ozGrapefruit Club Soda

Beer Glass
Add cognac and cranberry juice to a chilled beer glass with ice. Top with grapefruit club soda (about 3 oz). Stir. Garnish with lime wheel and grapefruit slice.
Editor's Note
Cognac replaces vodka in this bubbly Sea Breeze riff. The VSOP's warm fruit and vanilla notes add depth to the familiar cranberry-grapefruit pairing, creating an elevated patio highball.
