I wanted something citrusy, floral and quintessentially spring. A vodka martini felt like the perfect vehicle for those flavors.

Shake all ingredients well with ice and double strain into a frosty coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a small wedge of grapefruit and a dried rose bud. Here’s to good health and blooming gardens!
Editor's Note
A reverse vodka sour where grapefruit juice leads. Rose liqueur and bianco vermouth add floral and herbal layers, creating a bright, bitter, and blooming spring sipper.

This sounds like such a lovely, balanced sip. What would you recommend using instead of the rose Liquor?

A dear friend had a bartender recreate this drink for her at the Peacock Room in New Orleans. I’m digging the pink color they got and the orchid garnish!
