This next cocktail is inspired by the origins of the name Pisco. Pisco means Little Bird in the Incan language. This name was eventually assigned to the Port City of Pisco for the little birds that used to fly around there. Eventually the distilled spirit started being exported out of the Port of Pisco and adopted the name. This one was inspired by the Jungle Bird cocktail. I swapped out the Campari for the lighter Aperol

A home enthusiast with a passion for all things tiki! Rum is my favourite poison, but I also love Whiskey, Brandy and just about every other spirit. I'm fairly new to cocktail making but I quickly fell in love with it and enjoy the pursuit of finding my new favourite libation. Cheers! ...

Editor's Note
A clever Jungle Bird riff swapping rum for floral pisco. Aperol provides a gentle bitterness, while rose petal syrup and pineapple create a silky, tropical sour.

Love the sound of this with the acid adjusted pineapple juice. What's your spec for that recipe?
