Who doesn't love Whiskey Sours? They are easy to make, and always a crowd-pleaser. They can also be used as a blank canvas. Add a little red wine floater and you have a NY Sour. Sub in honey for simple syrup and you have yourself a Gold Rush. We took the 'Gold Rush' template and added a little rose water to it. We weren't sure if rose water would work with Bourbon.... but OH, YA IT DID! Add a little egg white foam and some bitters and you have yourself one heck of a refreshing drink! Thank you...

Except for the bitters, combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake for at least 30 seconds. (For extra foam, add a hawthorn sprig to the shaker.) Strain into a glass of choice and add the bitters on top of the foam. Garnish and enjoy!
Editor's Note
Rose water lifts the classic Gold Rush into a fragrant, spring‑ready sour.

This sounds like a beautiful, aromatic twist on a classic! The rose and honey combination is inspired. Do you have a preferred ratio for your honey syrup to ensure the best texture?

That honey syrup is a 1:1 ratio, right ? sounds tasty.
