Lost Paper Plane

Here is a Paper Plane with a tropical twist! I’ve never made one before and since I’m not much of a bourbon fan I wanted to try the rum version. It’s delicious! I used El Dorado 15-year Demerara rum. I definitely prefer the rum version although I do like the original. Cheers y’all!!

Bartender
Hi there! I've been a bartender at the same restaurant for over 10 years. My favorite spirits to work with are rum (love a good tiki drink!), gin and amaros. I love to garden and I often use the herbs and produce I grow to make syrups and infusions. Cheers y'all! ...

Editor's Note
Demerara rum replaces bourbon in this riff, adding molasses depth to the classic equal-parts template. The result is a richer, more tropical take on the modern standard.
