Melon Ball Sunrise
Submitted on: September 11, 2023
Hello friends! I've had Tequila Sunrises, but I've never had a Melon Ball Sunrise before. A version of a Melon Ball, but with an addition of grenadine to get the sunrise gradient effect, this drink has a very pleasant melon flavor with the added benefit of citrus to fight the effects of scurvy. This was a very pleasant surprise for a Monday evening that is proving dreary and gloomy. Cheers!

View More1. Fill a highball glass with ice. 2. Pour in vodka and melon liqueur. 3. Fill with orange juice. 4. Stir. 5. Pour in a barspoon of grenadine, allowing it to rise from the bottom.
Editor's Note
A melon-forward riff on the classic sunrise. The orange juice provides a bright, refreshing base for the sweet liqueur.
