Combine all ingredients in a drink mixer tin with 1 1/2 cups of roughly crushed ice. Flash blend, then open pour into a double Old Fashioned glass or small snifter. Top with freshly grated nutmeg and garnish with a mint sprig.
Editor's Note
A clever Mai Tai riff swapping orange curaçao for pear liqueur and orgeat for spicy falernum. A split rum base adds funk and depth, flash-blended for a classic Tiki texture.

Love the fresh nutmeg on this. If I don't have the Pear liquor, what would you recommend for replacement? This recipe is fantastic.
