I wanted a bright refreshing gin sour to showcase a local distiller’s (Seven Caves) amazing Tiki Gin. This refreshing drink is perfect for the upcoming summer season with all the fun fruity flavors and botanicals from the Tiki Gin. To me and my friends it’s very reminiscent of Peaches and Pineapple with a hint of lime.

Editor's Note
Seven Caves Tiki Gin brings a tropical botanical profile to this classic sour. Turbinado syrup adds a subtle depth that anchors the bright lime and anise-forward bitters.

This is such a beautiful way to play on the notes of the gin. Cheers.

This sounds like a fantastic way to showcase a local spirit! The combination of Tiki-style botanicals with a classic sour structure is brilliant. Do you find that the turbinado syrup helps bridge the gap between the gin's spice and the lime's acidity?
