Submitted on: June 2, 2023
After the extended holiday weekend and a couple of days back in the daily grind, another weekend is within reach. Probably gonna get some sun and just be lazy. And cocktail it up with some of my new bottles. And glassware - picked this one up in New Jersey. I love its pop of color 💛. Happy weekend and TGIF.

View MoreAfter letting the Star Anise infuse with the Campari for about an hour, stir all ingredients over ice. Garnish with citrus (I mixed orange and grapefruit slices) and add some fresh star anise.
Editor's Note
A simple star anise infusion transforms the classic Negroni. The licorice-like spice adds a warm, aromatic layer that complements Campari's bitterness and the gin's botanicals.

This sounds like a wonderful way to kick off the weekend! The star anise infusion is such a clever touch—do you find that it changes the texture of the drink at all, or is it mostly an aromatic addition?
