The Floral Collins

We had a request a week ago to come up with a Tom Collins twist for a bachelor party. Tom Collins is one of those classics that are pretty perfect within itself. Super refreshing and easy to drink. We decided to swap the lemon for fresh pressed grapefruit and add a touch of homemade rose water. And we paired it with a floral gin to really add another layer to it. Mianda's Oregon Summer Dry Gin @ewingyoungdistillery created with Oregon botanicals worked beautifully in this.

1. Add gin, grapefruit juice, and rose water to a wine glass. 2. Fill with ice and stir briefly. 3. Top with soda water and garnish.
Editor's Note
A Tom Collins riff that ditches lemon and sugar for tart grapefruit and aromatic rose water. Built around a floral Oregon gin, the result is bracingly dry and botanical.
