Day Three of my Beets-Giving 🦃 cocktails for Thanksgiving Break goes simple with the beauty of beets and rye 🌾✨ Rye has a lovely, warm flavor and aroma that pair very well with the sweet smoothness of beets— much like how cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. go well with beets. Because of this inherent beauty and flavor explosion, we keep it simple with an old fashioned-style cocktail 🥃 🌟

Editor's Note
Earthy beet juice meets the spice of rye in this seasonal Old Fashioned riff. A balanced, savory-sweet sipper for autumn gatherings.

This sounds like a fantastic and creative way to incorporate seasonal flavors into a classic format! Do you find that the type of beet juice used (e.g., fresh-pressed vs. store-bought) significantly changes the balance of the drink?
