So something people outside the restaurant industry don't know is "Special" usually means "we have some excess product we need to sell". That's how this drink came to be, I had two bottles of juiced cucumber and a small case of leftover 'Mermaid Lemonade'. I added a few more odds and ends and this drink sold out within three hours!

Combine tequila, cucumber juice, lemonade, and jalapeño slices in a shaker with ice and shake briefly. Strain into a Hurricane glass filled with crushed or pebble ice. Top with soda water and garnish with a lime wheel. *Mermaid Lemonade is a product from Raw Juicery. It's ingredients are blue spirulina, coconut nectar, lemon, peach blossom, and aloe vera.

Cucumber and jalapeño meet a floral, blue-hued lemonade in this refreshing, high-volume crowd-pleaser. A bright, vegetal riff on a tequila highball.
