This is an amazing combination of red wine and whiskey. With a little added sweetness from some simple syrup. An especially nice cocktail for those that don’t necessarily like red wine or want some something like a Manhattan but are not a fan of the booziness.

Editor's Note
Red wine meets whiskey in this approachable, low-ABV sipper. The simple syrup bridges the gap between the wine's tannins and the whiskey's oak.
