Front Porch Sunday

Submitted on: April 13, 2022
My partner and I aren’t currently front porch people, because being a front porch person in our part of the city is not a good look—think less “pitcher of sangria” and more “Colt 45 and two Zigzags, baby that’s all we need.” But when we ARE front porch people, this delicious garden fresh mule will be the official drink of FP Sundays. Two of my favourite distilleries—the Newfoundland Distillery Co. and Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers come together to make the perfect springtime sipper.

Home bartender based in St. John's, Newfoundland. Like many, I got into this hobby-turned-obsession-turned-side gig during the pandemic, and it's been a journey! I have a passion for tiki classics and modern exotic cocktails, especially when I can infuse them with spirits and quality ingredients from the East Coast of Canada. Editor's Note
Cloudberry gin and bitters anchor this garden-fresh mule, balancing bright berry notes against a spicy ginger finish. A refreshing, seasonal highball for warm afternoons.
