To create my first cocktail with the Maraska Nocelino chocolate liqueur, I went where the flavors took me. Think the saccharine notes of dark rum, smoke from mezcal, earthiness of tequila and decadent chocolate from the liqueur itself. The old fashioned spec was perfect for this cocktail with a touch of Fernet Branca which highlighted all the right notes and some more. The Orange bitters lightened the sip making for a delightful drink!

It all started when a dear friend gifted me the Drunken Botanist and that was all the push I needed to dive head first into the world of mixology! Editor's Note
A split-base of agave and rum meets the deep, velvety notes of chocolate liqueur. Fernet-Branca provides a sharp, herbal finish that keeps this spirit-forward sipper perfectly balanced.
