Today let’s take a trip to a newly opened tiki bar in Wilmington, North Carolina. Normally their signature cocktail is served as a bowl style drink. But today we’re going to shrink it down to a single serving, talk about some of the choices they made, and taste a delicious cocktail. Today we’re going to be making a riff on the painkiller, the Sorrow Drowner, from, well…… Sorrow Drowner.

Ingredients

1 oz
Aged Jamaican Rum

.75 oz
Overproof Demerara Rum

.5 oz
Orange Liqueur

1 oz
Unsweetened Coconut Milk

.5 oz
Maple Syrup - Grade B

4 oz
Pineapple Juice
