My Mai Tai

Submitted on: May 7, 2023
Cuba meets the US in this blend of dark rums for this riff on a Mai Tai. The rich flavors of Havana Club Añejo rum accented with the spices from the Kraken Spiced Rum mix perfectly together with the various citrus ingredients in this cocktail. Be sure not to overuse the cherry syrup or you’ll have a very sweet treat! A wonderful cocktail to sip on any spring or summer day. Enjoy! 🍸

Editor's Note
A split base of aged and spiced rum gives this Mai Tai riff a warm, spicy backbone. Pineapple juice and a touch of cherry syrup replace traditional orgeat for a fruit-forward, accessible take.

This is kind of a pineapple twist on a tradional Mai Tai. Sounds refreshing.
