A cloudy day calls for a sunny cocktail. And I wanted bourbon today (I know, so not typical me!). So I perused the fridge and came up with this easy but delicious cocktail. The tangerine juice is for a canning project (I’ll post in my stories later) and I figured I could spare some. It’s sunny and tart, with the vanilla rounding it all out. Now I just need the sun to come out! Cheers y’all!

Hi there! I've been a bartender at the same restaurant for over 10 years. My favorite spirits to work with are rum (love a good tiki drink!), gin and amaros. I love to garden and I often use the herbs and produce I grow to make syrups and infusions. Cheers y'all! ...

Editor's Note
Tangerine juice and vanilla syrup give this bourbon sour a bright, dessert‑like twist that feels like sunshine in a glass.
