Banana Nut Espresso Martini

It's finally fall! And fall weather! Rum has a reputation of being a warm weather spirit but I think that's bananas. It's not only an all-season spirit but absolutely perfect for pairing with fall flavors like baking spices, apples, pumpkin... and this rum from @dosmaderas aged 3 years in sherry casks is a great way to usher in the cooler weather. I paired it with a lovely new syrup from Appel's Cordials and Ampersand coffee liqueur from Old Harbor for a great cocktail!

Editor's Note
Sherry-cask rum and walnut liqueur transform the standard espresso martini into a rich, fall-forward dessert cocktail. The banana notes provide a surprising, aromatic lift to the finish.
