I’ve been having so much fun with this rum punches, and I’m sad that I’ve only got one left after this. Blueberry and maple is a classic combo that generates thoughts of pancakes on Sunday morning. The vanilla certainly lends itself to this as well. Spiced with pimento and local bitters, it’s the perfect blend of the downhome and the exotic—my favourite! Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake well. Fine strain into a Collins glass filled with cracked ice. Garnish with several blueberries on a pick, a lemon wedge, and a mint sprig.
