Taking a break from Dry January to bring you my husband’s current favorite cocktail! Marrying cognac with a wine based sweetener like @domainesante feels like the right thing to do and it works. Fernet Branca brings in that earthiness while curaçao compliments the fruitiness. Cocci americano lightens the cocktail, which makes for a smooth sip.

Editor's Note
Cognac meets the herbal depth of Fernet-Branca in this refined, spirit-forward sipper. Grape nectar provides a subtle, wine-like sweetness that ties the profile together.

This sounds like a beautifully balanced and sophisticated cocktail! Do you happen to have a recommendation for a substitute if someone cannot find the grape nectar locally?

I love how you added the dry Curacoa in this to split the Fernet. Yum!
