Green Negroni II

Submitted on: November 11, 2023
This is my second variation of a green negroni, and it is drier and more herbal/vegetal than the first one. The Chartreuse takes the place of the Campari or other bitter red liqueur in this variation. I infused some gin with basil, which added to the herbal vegetal flavors of the Chartreuse. I love the way the clear ice reflects the green in this shot.

Editor's Note
Green Chartreuse and basil-infused gin create a sharp, vegetal profile. Dry vermouth keeps the finish crisp and clean.
