I chose “buttery beer”, which includes root beer, butterscotch, and vanilla cream. . In order to tone down the sweetness, I first interpreted “butterscotch” as “buttered scotch” (i.e. butter fat-washed a blended scotch). Yum, right? I love trying new ingredients, learning new techniques, and of course, creating new cocktails-- especially ones influenced by food in some way. I also love the photography/videography side of things. I’m incredibly passionate about my craft but try not to take myself too seriously. Cheers!...

Then, build drink with whiskey, syrup, and bitters. Stir until chilled, strain over large ice and top with cream.
Editor's Note
A clever pun—'butterscotch' becomes butter-washed Scotch—transforms a sweet soda concept into a serious, spirit-forward sipper. A salted vanilla cream float balances the rich, spiced root beer notes.

This sounds incredible. What a creative take on these flavors? What steps did you use to fat wash the scotch? And what proportions did you use in the root beer syrup?
