Thank you BG Reynolds for the passion fruit syrup. Congratulations on having such a solid product!! This cocktail for sure ranks in my top 10 all time favorites. Created by Ray Buhen in Los Angeles during the 1960s. This variation comes from Martin Cate's - Smuggler's Cove

Combine all ingredients except the overproof rum. Shake and strain, then top with the overproof rum. Serve in highball or tiki glass.
