2 oz Ruddell's Mill Bourbon 1/2 oz The Bitter Truth Golden Falernum 1/2 oz Vanilla Simple Syrup 5 dashes The Bitter Truth Orange Bitters 5 mint leaves Add all ingredients to a shaker with a few small ice cubes and one large. Make sure you slap the mint leaves. For the lemon, peel it over the shaker, express the peel and drop it in. Then cut the wedge where you peeled, squeeze, and drop it in. Shake hard to muddle and double strain into an ice-filled glass with a mint crown. Enjoy!
Editor's Note
Golden falernum and vanilla syrup lend a warm spice‑sweet veil to bourbon, while fresh mint and lemon peel keep it bright and garden‑fresh.
