Lovely Day

Happy Father’s Day! Summer is here, and that means it’s time for Blackrocks Brewery’s Honey Lav - an unfiltered American wheat beer with Michigan honey and lavender! It also means my gardens are popping, so I am making new syrups. I was sipping some Honey Lav while working outside and running in to stir and check my sage blossom syrup. I liked what I was experiencing as I tasted both, so this was born! Best enjoyed in the sun by a grill with your family nearby!

Editor's Note
Rye whiskey's spice meets a garden-inspired sage blossom syrup. A top of honey-lavender wheat beer makes this a uniquely floral and refreshing summer sour.
