Another cocktail, another colleague. My co-workers seemed to enjoy The Melissa, or they were just being kind. Anyhoo, it deserved a follow up (there will be others, GGG warns). Blake is a movie and music buff like me, and I’m trying to force all of those 90s twist ending movies on him (think Malice, The Game, Suspect etc.). He suggested Sake but did not provide much of a starting point. Cheers Blake, I hope you and your wife recreate and enjoy, while listening to early R.E.M.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ozShadow Ridge Bourbon Whiskey
- 1 ozSaki
- 1/2 ozSimple Syrup

Orange slice and candied ginger
Stir & Strain
Stir with ice, then strain into a rocks glass over a large clear ice cube. Garnish with an orange slice and candied ginger.
