My first drink with the vodka from Dented Brick Distillery is pretty original. My time in Scandinavia helped me accrue a taste for aquavit and I've been playing with replacing vermouth for cognac. The creamy and fruity flavors of the vodka work nicely with these two ingredients. I'm not sure how often a drink is made with ingredients from France, Utah, and Norway, but this sure is a tasty one.

Add ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.

The aquivit is a holiday family tradition for me, and adding in the vodka mellows the flavor a bit, so it becomes really tasty!
