National Mezcal Day came up and I was looking for a cocktail that I could help showcase mezcal in a tiki cocktail. I was looking through the book Modern Classic Cocktails and came across Iv Mix’s Tia Mia, the perfect cocktail for what I was looking for.

- 1 ozMezcal Joven
- 1 ozAged Jamaican Rum
- .5 ozOrange Liqueur
- 1 ozLime Juice

Combine all ingredients into a shaking tin with pebble ice. Whip shake for 5-8 seconds. Add pebble ice to a double old fashioned glass. Open pour contents into the glassware. Garnish with mint sprig.
