I came up with this recipe as a way to use some citrus vodka and cucumber bitters, and upon googling discovered my recipe was similar to another cocktail called Pliny's Tonic (gin, cucumber, lime, habanero, mint). I'm calling this one "Tiberius, Calm Down". Tiberius was the second Roman emperor who (according to Pliny the Elder) apparently loved cucumbers. He was also described as kind of a miserable guy who could have used a few of these.

Editor's Note
Cucumber and habanero create a cooling-to-spicy arc that elevates this citrus-vodka sour. A refreshing, modern take on a classic botanical profile.
