A “Jungle Bird riff” in the same way that mashed potatoes are a French fry riff.
Andy Boimila and I were joking about how any drink with pineapple & Campari (or even sometimes with neither!) gets called a Jungle Bird riff.
Point is, this is definitely not actually a Jungle Bird riff, but it is terrific! Tart strawberry pairs well with sweet banana and the bitter Campari, with a supporting cast of classic exotic flavours.
Ingredients:
- Strawberry-infused White Rum
- Pineapple-infused Campari
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake until frosty, then open pour into a double old-fashioned glass. Top with more ice if necessary. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, mint sprig and swizzle stick.
