Scuppers Grog
Submitted on: May 14, 2022
Felt like playing around with pomegranate juice. I don't usually have an open bottle on hand, but my BG Reynolds Lush Grenadine arrived before I made my own. I made that Mother's Day drink, and still had plenty of juice left, so I started jotting recipes down. This trio of grogs stood out, so I decided to do a little Pom Grog weekend. Here's the first offering! Recommended brands: •The Real McCoy 5 Year •Appleton Estate Reserve 8 •POM Wonderful

View MoreCombine all ingredients in a drink mixer tin. Blend for 5 seconds. Open pour into a double old-fashioned glass and top with more ice if necessary. Top with freshly grated nutmeg and garnish with a mint sprig.
Editor's Note
Pomegranate juice meets a dual-rum blend in this vibrant, flash-blended grog. Nutmeg and mint provide the aromatic finish essential to the tiki template.
