My choice for my first Welcome Home cocktail, and one I only needed a couple of things for! Al Sotack created this one in 2014, and he said they “served a bazillion of these because all of the ingredients are fairly recognizable - and it’s delicious.” I can agree with both of those things, seeing as I had everything on hand except the Beefeater so I subbed in the infinitely more interesting Tanqueray Ten. - 1 1/2 ozTanqueray Ten
- 3/4 ozLillet Blanc
- 1 ozPineapple Juice
- 3/4 ozStrawberry-Basil Syrup
- 3/4 ozLime Juice
- 1 bar spoonAbsinthe
- 2 dash(es)Peychaud's Bitters

Glass
Lime wheel and Strawberry
Shake & Double Strain
Old Fashioned/Rocks
Add all ingredients to a shaker tin with ice and shake well. Double strain into a rocks glass over a large cube. Garnish with a lime wheel and a strawberry
