Oh My Darling
Submitted on: November 25, 2022
Satsumas. Clementines. Tangerines. Whatever you call them they are in season now! Down here we call them satsumas and everyone either has a tree or knows someone who does. They grow that well here. The ones I have now are sooooo sweet and work beautifully with rum, banana liqueur and some Campari. The satsuma-honey syrup adds just a touch more sweetness, enough to round out the flavors. Cheers y’all!!

Bartender
Hi there! I've been a bartender at the same restaurant for over 10 years. My favorite spirits to work with are rum (love a good tiki drink!), gin and amaros. I love to garden and I often use the herbs and produce I grow to make syrups and infusions. Cheers y'all! ...

Editor's Note
Satsuma juice and banana liqueur bring a bright, tropical lift to aged rum. A whisper of Campari provides the necessary bitter structure to keep this seasonal sipper balanced.
