Black Twist Hard Coffee is a bold pick for anyone who loves their caffeine with a kick. A whiff of the liqueur is enough to transport you to a coffee shop that transforms into a late night bar. With the first sip, you get a strong but smooth note of roasted coffee followed by a subtle boozy warmth that lingers. It’s not too sweet, which I appreciate, since many hard coffees taste more like dessert than drink. The flavor leans toward coffee over alcohol, making it delicious in a cocktail or even to enjoy on the rocks. I tried it over ice with a splash of cream, and it was dangerously drinkable. A solid option for coffee lovers wanting something (more) spirited.
